Well it was a cloudy evening after work but when I heard Canadian Pacific train 426 approaching Fenwick I decided to take a photograph of it anyway. It was too dark for slides but I managed to get half decent digital photo.
I guess it's moody or something.
Another Sunday at home with the scanner on. This morning I heard Canadian Pacific train 247 obtain a clearance from Brookfield East and decided that I would like to photograph it climbing out from under the Welland Canal. I drove over to Kingsway Street and waited for about 15 minutes.
The picture taken I returned home. In the afternoon I heard Canadian Pacific train 426 heading my way and popped out to take its picture.
It was a refreshing change to see an SD40-2 and an SD60 on the Hamilton Subdivision. The endless monotony of GE locomotives was getting to me.
This was Thanksgiving in Canada and a day off work. I was at home in the morning and keeping an ear perked for any Canadian Pacific trains to be coming my way. Before long train 246 could be heard and I went out for a photograph.
That was all I would see that day. I guess it was enough to be thankful for. Something more interesting than a single AC4400 would have been nice. =)
