Today, while working from home, I heard Canadian Pacific train 255 north obtain a clearance to proceed off the Canadian National Stamford Subdivision in Brookfield and into the siding in Welland Yard. Since the lead locomotive was a now rare SD40-2 I decided the train warranted a photograph. Once the train acquired its clearance to proceed north of Welland Yard I took Missy over to Farr Street to see it.
Subsequent to my photographs I returned home to continue working.
A short time later, while making lunch, train 247 north also obtained a clearance. I walked Missy up to the Foss Road crossing for a look.
Once again I returned home to get back to work. Well, lunch was first priority.
Great shots, Brian! What an ugly nose on that CITX unit...
