Tonight I was getting ready for bed and heard on the scanner that train 254 south was on the way. Then it hit me. Why not photograph the train's lights illuminating the scenery behind my house with a long exposure. So I got Missy and my tripod and walked to the back of my property and set up for a photograph.

In the dark I couldn't see the number of the second engine. But, I was quite satisfied with the effect of the photograph.
