Today I took Missy out trackside for the first time. Well, we went farther than Fenwick for the first time at any rate. I was initially going to Copetown but the elevator track was full of Loram equipment so we continued on to Lynden. It took a while but eventually the trains showed up.
- 1152 Lynden - CN 383 west - CN 5730-IC 1011-GTW 6420
- 1313 Lynden - CN 873 west - CN 5640
The empty grain train was interesting even if the power wasn't. Also noteworthy were the handful of mixed frieght cars at the back.
- 1318 Lynden - VIA 72 east - VIA 905
- 1326 Lynden - VIA 73 west - VIA 6415
- 1339 Lynden - CN 148 east - CN 2535-CN 5623
At that point I decided to call it a day. Train 435 would be along in a while but I was content. So Missy and I went to Binbrook to visit my family before the night's Hamilton Bulldogs game.
