I spent the day relaxing at home. The "as advertised" sunny weather didn't materialise so Missy and I didn't get very energetic. I left the scanner on and eventually heard train 246 announce the Boyle mile board. Missy and I walked behind our house to take a look.

Canadian Pacific delivered another colourful locomotive consist on a rather short train destined for CSX in Buffalo.
Late in the afternoon the sun finally made an appearance and to my amazement train 247 north departed Welland Yard in the middle of it. It was time for Missy's walk so we took the camera to Foss Road for a photograph.

After train 247 cleared the crossing Missy and I resumed our walk around the block.
