Trackside Log for Friday, April 8, 2011

Tonight I was just returning from a neighbourly visit next door when, upon entering my house, I heard the scanner chirp up. A southbound Canadian Pacific train was calling out the Boyle mile board. I got my camera then Missy and I drove down to River Road for a photograph.

The St. Lawrence & Hudson locomotives are few now and STLH 5593 is certainly looking worse for wear. It was also nice to see one of the attractive green Saskatchewan cylindrical covered hoppers near the end of the train.
