After a weekend of helpers and mountain grades the train ride this morning seemed pretty bland. However, here I was taking Via to work in Toronto yet again.
- 0709 dep St. Catharines - Via 90 west - VIA 901
- 0727 arr/0728 dep Grimsby - Via 90 west - VIA 901
- 0758 arr/0801 dep Aldershot - Via 90 east - VIA 901
- 0812 arr/0813 dep Oakville - Via 90 east - VIA 901
- 0837 arr Toronto - Via 90 east - VIA 901
Will the excitement never stop? Time to ride home.
- 1746 dep Toronto - Via 95 west - VIA 920
- 1810 arr/1812 dep Oakville - Via 95 west - VIA 920
- 1823 arr/1825 dep Aldershot - Via 95 west - VIA 920
- 1858 arr/1900 dep Grimsby - Via 95 east - VIA 920
- 1916 arr/1920 dep St. Catharines - Via 95 east - VIA 920
...and then I was home. I got to thinking on the train, while listening to "Rock the Casbah", that I need to go on another excursion soon. Maybe a trip to Geneva, New York to see the Finger Lakes Railway. Yeah. I like the sound of that.
